What year are we in? we are 22 years into the 21st century. We are past the time we should allow any fellow Pennsylvanians to be treated as second-class citizens whether for their gender identity or sexual orientation. Yet here we are in 2022 having to talk about fairness for all fellow human beings.
For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, Im tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it, cAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.
Our community is realizing that we have become second-class citizens in our own country, minority bashing and hate is becoming regular and normalized. As the intensity increases, the venom and violence in their language also increases.
