How to use antisemitic in a sentence?
There's certainly been upticks in antisemitic incidents over the last five years or so, and it's certainly something we have to be vigilant about. But I think that the more people get educated, and be made aware, that that is the way to attack this issue.
Antisemitism in any form is vile, unacceptable, and I condemn it in the strongest way possible. New York students should be learning and tested on real history, not ideological revisions. I urge Governor Hochul and Commissioner Rosa to act in the best interest of our students, it defies comprehension how such a blatant antisemitic question passed through the layers of approval process in our state’s education system, but unfortunately, it’s a reflection of the far-left anti-Israel ideology that is permeating our government.
This symbol of hate displayed in our city is both shocking and unsettling, particularly on the heels of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, this antisemitic and hateful symbol has no place in our city, and we stand united with the members of our Jewish community against anti-Semitism in all its forms.
Failure of the FBI to understand this is something of a pattern with law enforcement in the United States and frankly in Europe. It seems that time after time, we see law enforcement officials fail to understand when an antisemitic incident occurs, even when it's entirely obvious, and sometimes the results of that are tragic. This time, fortunately, they have not been, if the law enforcement community doesn't understand what's going on, they're not going to be able to address the fallout from this.
Words matter, antisemitic words aren't harmless, they might be protected by the First Amendment, and I'm not suggesting that they be censored, but they're not harmless. They do real damage. That’s take away No. 1. Take away No. 2 is that social media is remarkably effective and impactful.
