Entrance, the act of entering, refers merely to the fact of passing from without to within some enclosure; admission and admittance refer to entering by or with some one's consent, or at least to opportunity afforded by some one's act or neglect. We may effect or force an entrance, but not admittance or admission; those we gain, procure, obtain, secure, win. Admittance refers to place, admission refers also to position, privilege, favor, friendship, etc. An intruder may gain admittance to the hall of a society who would not be allowed admission to its membership. Approach is a movement toward another; access is coming all the way to his presence, recognition, and consideration. An unworthy favorite may prevent even those who gain admittance to a king's audience from obtaining any real access to the king. Entrance is also used figuratively for setting out upon some career, or becoming a member of some organization; as, we speak of one's entrance upon college life, or of entrance into the ministry.

How to use PORTAL in a sentence?
The rules say you’re not supposed to recruit a kid until he gets in the portal, but I think we can agree that there’s a lot of people on our rosters who are getting recruited who are not in the portal yet. And that’s the dangerous part — people recruiting your own players before they even want to get in the portal. And then enticing them with NIL opportunities down the road. I get the idea behind NIL, but a lot of times rules get made, and sometimes we don’t think about the consequences that arise from them down the road.
I think it will be difficult to create that portal in such a time frame but we will see if Treasury can pull it off.
There will be no ballot, visitors will be able to book on the accommodation portal on a first come, first served basis.
It’s crazy. It’s really sad, to be honest with you, there’s right around 2,000 kids in the portal and most of them do n’t have anywhere to go. There’s so much tampering going on and so many adults manipulating young people. It’s sad, but you know, it it what it is from that standpoint. You’ve got a lot of young people that … there’s a time and a place, but most of the kids are in there when they should n’t be in there.
Just the rules. I want the rules. I can hardly wait for the rules. Whatever they are, no matter how high the bar, no matter how rigorous the reporting and auditing, no matter how complicated the portal applications, WHATEVER…just tell me what we have to do so that America can take the next bold step forward in the democratization of investing.
