How to use writing in a sentence?
I think that’s ridiculous. I’m not doing it. I said I’m not writing the letter.
Honestly, the intent of the author could not be clearer. This was a 9- to 10-year-old child who wants people to stay out of her writing.
There is one exception. I was asked a series of questions in writing. I responded to those questions with respect to a particular investigation. That was some time earlier this year.
Wow, I didn’t expect that. What was supposed to be a shout out of products I like, suddenly becomes an invitation to comment on my baby, and my ability as a mother. That’s the internet for you… but also, Instagrammers: instead of writing snarky comments about a 5 week old, try dancing around your living room to a Clash record. It’s way more fun.
Some of these letters that they’re writing are so thoughtful and they’re funny, but they’re spiritual, these kids are just amazingly supportive. Cancer would be a pretty scary thing for anyone to understand and get their arms around, but these 15- and 16-year-old kids, they just jump in with both feet. They’re here to support her, they talk to her, they want to know what’s going on. It’s really been amazing.
